Dublin Accommodation

Looking for somewhere to stay in Dublin?
The scope of accommodation in Dublin caters to travellers of all budgets and from every walk of life. There are as many posh and modern rooms as there are quaint hideaways, rustic inns and charming bed and breakfasts. Keeping in mind that prices are higher in the capital city than they are elsewhere in Ireland, visitors can still find good deals if they book in advance.
The best selection of luxury hotels is situated south of River Liffey near Trinity College and Temple Bar. This is an upbeat, youthful district, and there’s plenty to do hear after hours. While the finest hotels are well insulated from outside noise, some of the more affordable options around Trinity College can be noisy at night. Top floors are the quietest.
For something nearby but a bit quieter, consider staying around St Stephen’s Green. Here, you’re a short walk from the nightlife scene, but you miss out on the noise. Merrion Square is nearby and a bit more affordable. Much of the accommodation in around Merrion Square is kept in staunch Georgian buildings. North of the River Liffey is O’Connel Street and a selection of trendy hotels that are modern, comfortable and a bit more affordable than those south of the river. Much farther south is Ballsbridge, a residential area with quiet and attractive avenues. Value for money is good here, but you’ll need a hire car for the commute to and from the city centre.
It’s worth checking in with Europcar when booking car rental in Dublin, as the company has partnerships with certain hotels and can offer preferential rates in some cases. Hotels that partner with Europcar are more likely to let you park a vehicle on site. Otherwise, nightly parking rates can be high.
